Transitions: An Expressive Wellness
Creative Practices Virtual Series
There are two options for this virtual Expressive Wellness series:
Option 1 for Everyone: 6 Week experiential virtual series for anyone interested in learning tools to facilitate healing through the creative processes of art and music. We will be exploring the theme of transitions, as this is a time of transition and change for all of us. Many of us are feeling overwhelmed, unclear, anxious, or unsettled. Transitions offer a unique opportunity for self-reflection and exploration and are a time of profound growth.Together we can commit to learning creative practices to support our personal growth and healing and increase our capacity for open-mindedness and resilience as we move forward. Expressive Wellness exercises will help you to learn creative healing practices in a safe and supportive virtual community and create lasting change.
This series is co-facilitated by a registered art therapist and a board certified music therapist. We will come together on Sunday evenings so that participants can practice their new Expressive Wellness tool for the week.
No previous art or music experience necessary. Participants only need to bring required materials for each session and a willingness to practice self-compassion and be vulnerable as we learn something new together. This series is open for all to attend who are interested in creative expression.
When: August 30 - October 4, 2020. Sunday evenings from 7:00pm - 8:30pm EST
