About Bodhi Simpson
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Maine and a Registered Art Therapist with the Art Therapy Credentialing Board. I earned my graduate degree in Clinical Art Therapy at Springfield College. I am a Past President of the Maine Mental Health Counselors Association. I am also a student at Wisdom University working toward a PhD in Wisdom Studies.
My practice encompasses an integrative approach combining creative arts therapies, positive psychology, humanistic psychology, cognitive behavorial therapy, energy psychology, transpersonal & spiritual psychology, mindfulness, guided vizualization, as well as various other modalities. I am able to work with individuals to help them discover the method of expression that feels most comfortable.
I provide individual and group sessions, workshops, trainings, and retreats that incorporate creative expression and work with imagination, intuition and metaphor. My specialties include self-discovery & personal growth, trauma, grief & loss, adoption related issues, depression, anxiety, and assisting highly sensitive people.
In addition to my work, I am always seeking ways to enhance my own creativity, personal growth, intuition and spiritual development. I derive great joy from spending connected time with my family. Being creative in some form every single day helps me to create balance. I also have a deep interest in consciousness, energy, neurobiology, and quantum physics.
